My main message is turning your 'Pain into your Purpose".My world was turned upside down after becoming ill/incapacitated for 4 Months, my mum died suddenly, going through divorce and then my grandmother was diagnosed with alzheimers and later passed away (she was my last parental figure) all within 4 years.This could've defined me but I chose for it to refine me. This started me on the road to transformation and personal growth. Completing my Public speaking course with Jet set speakers (Andy Harrington UK) and starting my Mastery University With Tony Robbins. In 2017 I was made redundant and saw this as an opportunity to create the life I wanted. Topics I can speak on are Grief & Loss, Organ Donation, Breast Cancer, Alzheimers, In the words of the great artist Pablo Picasso, "The meaning of Life is to find your Gift. The purpose of Life is to give it away". So grateful that my journey lead me to find my Gift.

WHY CHOOSE ME?
Asking myself the question "If I created a business around what I'm passionate about, What would it be?". So I created Kindred Gift by Leah Barthel around all the areas I'm passionate about. Writing, Yoga/meditation, dance, Organ Donation advocacy, Public Speaking, creating change and most importantly being the best single mum I could be to my 2 awesome kids. This lead me to creating my business, Self publishing our book A Gift Before I Go (Illustrated by my daughter Cheyenne),doing my yoga teacher training and the most recent addition is becoming a Grief Recovery Method™ Advanced Specialist to assist people with Grief & Loss. Rather than allowing the death of both my parents, 4 grandparents, Loss of my marriage and Loss of health with a later breast cancer diagnosis to tear me down I chose to build myself strong and help people who are starting their journey with grief and loss.
